NaXum North Star: Make Me Feel Secure
Posted by Gabrielle Chloe Ansaldo / December 16, 2022
As a software and technology company, NaXum prides itself with providing security. Security is essential in any business especially today. We’re at an age where everyone and anyone is online. With this rise of technology and the number of its users came the rise of hacking, phishing, and other online horrors we only used to read about.
According to a study by Slashnext, there have been over 255M phishing attacks in 2022 so far. Cybercriminals are moving their attacks to mobile and personal communication channels to reach more people and recorded a 50% increase in attacks on mobile devices.
The study also reported 54% of all threats detected were zero-hour threats, showing that hackers are shifting tactics in real-time to improve success. 76% of the threats were targeted spear-phishing credential harvesting attacks.
This is why NaXum values security. With the data that the platform processes and stores every day, security is our top priority. Because of this, we strive to maintain and continue to innovate ways we unify the client’s system in order to prevent and immediately stop any and all attempts of unapproved access or defilement. We also make sure that the system in place is equipped with the right tools that protect information and data from situations like sudden outages.
Security goes beyond technology. It is also apparent in the entire process of the platform or system in place as well as the people who handle the creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of it. This is also why NaXum makes sure to hire the right kind of people who put value in security on their work, as well.
NaXum believes and puts security as one of its North Stars because we think that when our system and platforms are secure, our client’s businesses are also secure. So are the lives of the billions of business souls we serve.
